I’ve been anorexic for 3 years and am facing the possibility of having to go to residential treatment. I am in New Zealand and I know treatment centers will vary depending on country and the type of place it is. However I just want to hear some experiences to help me get over my fear! How much weight did you have to gain while in treatment? What were the staff like? Did being in residential treatment help you or hinder you?

i don’t have personal experience. if you’d go to an adult treatment center i suggest you watch ‘THIN’ on youtube. if your younger watch ‘I’m a child anorexic’
